Would you like to make your own "Kyo Kanzashi" in a nostalgic space? For making memories of your trip to Kyoto, for a girls' night out, or as a gift for your loved ones... You can take the product you made home with you on the day.
Using 200-year-old Kyoto bamboo, Kyoto's bamboo craftsmen make Kyoto hairpins with their heart and care. We offer a variety of other hands-on experiences.
How about going for a walk such as hairpins and earrings? The Japanese miscellaneous goods and bamboo work of the Kyoto brand "Waraku", which are carefully handmade one by one, have also been well received. Please feel free to visit "Kyomachiya Experience Studio Waraku", which is right next to Sanjusangendo and within walking distance from JR Kyoto Station.
We can also make custom-made products such as "Kanzashi", "Chopsticks", "Chashaku", and "Earpicks" according to your needs. If you contact us about the length, width, thickness, tip thickness, etc., we will make it and ship it. You can check the completion by e-mail etc. The material is soot bamboo.

Plan attractions
Kyokanzashi You will finish with a bamboo called soot bamboo as the axis. Please choose the length and shape you like. You can choose from reasonably priced dragonfly balls to luxuriously finished decorations on the day. Time required 45 minutes from 1,300 yen
